File formats and appropriate use
JPG: used for prints and digital media (websites, presentation tools, information materials, etc.). Solid white background behind the logo.
PNG: used for prints and digital media (websites, presentation tools, information materials, etc.). Ideal in cases where the logo must have a transparent background.
EPS/PDF: used for printed information material produced with professional graphics programmes (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, etc.). It can be resized to any format without sacrificing quality. It is often referred to as a ‘vector’ format.
